To open and operate your account; verify your identity and meet KYC, AML, sanctions and tax obligations; process deposits, orders and withdrawals; charge fees; prevent fraud and chargeback abuse; provide customer support; improve the Platform; and comply with legal requests. Legal bases include performance of our contract with you, legal obligation, and our legitimate interests in security and fraud prevention.
We share data only as needed with: our partner broker-dealer and custodians; payment processors, banks and money-transfer providers; identity verification and fraud-prevention services; AI model providers (to answer Atlas questions); cloud hosting providers; professional advisers; and regulators, law enforcement or courts where required. In a chargeback or payment dispute we may share transaction records, logs, documents and your acceptance of our Terms with the card network, bank or processor. We do not sell your personal data.
Our users and providers are located worldwide, so your data may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
We keep account, identity and transaction records for at least 5 years after account closure (or longer where law requires) to meet financial regulation, tax and anti-money-laundering obligations and to defend legal claims and payment disputes.
We use encryption, access controls and private document storage. Sensitive identifiers are masked to staff by default. No system is completely secure; keep your password confidential and notify us of any unauthorised access.
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or Ghana's Data Protection Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data and to data portability. Some data cannot be deleted while we have legal retention duties. Contact privacy@paylotrade.com to exercise your rights; you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
We use essential storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as Test/Live mode. We do not use advertising cookies.
